Sadie Whitt

Sadie Carroll Whitt, 91, of Richmond, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2005. Born in Ettrick, VA, she was the daughter of the late German Leonard and Susan Catherine Wall Carroll and the widow of Garland E. Hitchcock, who passed away in 1937, she remarried and is also the widow of the late Walter L. Whitt, Sr. She is survived by three sons, J. Ralph Hitchcock, Walter Whitt, Jr. and Stephen Whitt, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 31, 2005 from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
