Sadie Wicks

Sadie Bowen Wicks, 88, of Dinwiddie County, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at her residence. She was the widow of Linwood O. Wicks and a lifelong member of the First Assembly of God. She is survived by her sons, Michael C. Wicks and wife, Donna of Disputanta, Thomas D. Wicks of Dinwiddie, and James L. Wicks and wife, Linda of Prince George; and her grandchildren, Brandi Burnette and husband, Tom of Prince George and Katherine Wicks of Chester. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 PM Thursday, October 20, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, October 21 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park.
