Sally Neblett Sparks

Sally Inez Neblett Sparks, 76, of Hopewell, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence B. Neblett, Sr. and Sally Hardy Neblett; brother, Clarence B. Neblett, Jr.; and a great niece, Delaney Neblett. Sally is survived by her son, William Edward Sparks and wife, Megan; brother, John Hardy Neblett; and sister-in-law, Sara C. Neblett; Nephews, John and Tommy Neblett, John Christian Neblett and wife, Stephanie, and Edward Hardy Neblett; niece, Jacquelyn Kristin Ballowe and husband, Alan; great-nieces, Cheyenne Taliaferro and husband, Zach and Alanna Ballowe; great-nephew, Jack Neblett. Sally graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School, and then attended Kings College in North Carolina. She was an avid Nascar fan, and even participated in drag racing in her youth. Sally served as the accountant for SuperKids Ministries for many years. She was also an active member of First United Methodist Church in Hopewell. A memorial service will be held at 10am on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at First United Methodist Church, 502 W. Broadway Ave., Hopewell, VA 23860.
