Sam (Phillip) was a member of the Assembly God Church during his lifetime and was a firm believer in salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ. His passions included farming and gardening, traveling and hiking, cooking and baking, and decorating for Christmas. Some of his favorite memories are of times driving his tractor and time spent with his wife, Vera, hiking and exploring God's beautiful creations. However, his favorite place to be was his farm. Whether farming, fishing, or gardening, it was the place that made him the happiest. Family was important to Sam (Phillip). He loved and was very proud of his children and delighted in his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved spending time with his siblings reminiscing about good times. While grieving the loss, his family is content knowing that he is healed, walking and talking with Jesus.
