Samuel Bawel Sharp

Samuel Bawel Sharp, 78, of Carson, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2012. Born in Brown, Township, PA, he was the son of the late Samuel and Mattie Sharp. He is survived by his loving wife, Jean Sharp; two daughters, Rebecca Purr and husband, Ron, and MaryEllen Flickinger and husband, David; grandchildren, Alex, Carrie, and Sylvia; two sisters, Rebecca Sharp of Pennsylvania, and Katie Byler and husband, Andy of Florida; and a host of nieces, and nephews. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Carson United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment to follow in Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Carson Volunteer Fire Department, 20015 Halifax Rd., Carson, VA 23830, and American Diabetes Association, 4335 Cox Rd., Glen Allen, VA 23060.
