Sandra Robinson Ballard

Sandra Robinson Ballard, 79, of Hopewell, VA, died on September 24, 2023. She was born and raised in Huntington, West Virginia, and was married to the late Jerry Rodney Ballard, for 49 years. Married in 1964 to Jerry Ballard, she went on to have two surviving children, a daughter, Melissa Ballard, born in 1966 and son, Jerry Ballard, born in 1971. Sandra also is survived by her four grandchildren, Sean Parr, Amber VanMeter, Tabitha VanMeter, and Rachel Ballard; and four great-grandchildren, CJ, Hazel, Kira, and Mateo. Sandra loves her family very much and also loves her Church family very much. Sandra was extremely active in her Church, Restored Hope Church of The Nazarene, in Hopewell, VA. She was actively involved with their Crisis Care Program and their Missions Program. Sandy proudly served her country in the United States Air Force. She also loved to sing in the church choir and Praise Our Lord's Name... Jesus Christ.������

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 5:00 PM, with the Viewing happening directly afterward, until 8:00 PM, on Friday, September 29, 2023, at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home - Hopewell Chapel with Pastor Joe Greene of Restored Hope Church of The Nazarene, officiating.

The Burial Service will be held at Green Hill Cemetery, in Buena Vista, VA., on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 1:00 PM for all of those whom wish to attend.
