Sandra Fuzy Lafoon

Sandra Fuzy Lafoon, 63, of Dinwiddie, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 18, 2024. She is now in heavenly paradise with her parents Victor and Ethel Fuzy who preceded her in death.

Sandra was a longtime member of Western Heights Baptist Church. She found solace in her faith and shared its warmth with those around her. Her green thumb and passion for cultivating beauty were evident in her meticulously tended flower beds, a reflection of the care she poured into every aspect of her life. Summers by the beach and days boating on the water brought joy to Sandra's heart. Sandra radiated strength and love for her family, especially her children and grandchild, who were her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, James Lafoon; children, Jordan Lafoon and Jamie Pearrell (Wade); granddaughter, Luna Mae Pearrell; brother, Glen Fuzy (Janice); sister, Nancy Fluri; and a host of extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 PM, on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Western Heights Baptist Church, 24416 Cox Road, Petersburg, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In this time of sorrow, our thoughts and prayers are with the Lafoon family. May the memories of Sandra's love provide comfort until we are once again reunited with her.
