Sandra Lee McClenny of Prince George County, Virginia went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, November 9th. She received her ultimate reward and total healing when she entered into heavens gates and into the arms of Jesus.
Sandra was the widow of Robert Michael McClenny. She was a devoted wife for 42 years. She was a loving mother to Drs. Rob and Joy McClenny (son and daughter-in-law) and Brad and Becky Warthan (daughter and son-in-law). She was a caring and compassionate grandmother to 3 grandchildren; Matthew Ryan Fulton, Mason Riley Fulton and Judah Kane Warthan. She also leaves behind a wonderful brother and sister-in-law, Chip and Judy Scott and an entire community of friends.
Sandra was born in Maine and met her husband Rob in church while he was serving in the Navy. She worked as a switchboard operator for the telephone company until becoming a stay-at-home mom. She later went to work for Ukrop’s grocery store. Sandra was an accomplished pianist and organist at Charity Baptist Church, which she was a faithful member for 33 years. She had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing in the choir. Sandra was a strong woman who loved the Lord, her family and friends. She was a strong woman who was deeply rooted in the word of God and stood steadfast in her faith. She will be greatly missed, and we look forward to the day we can see her again.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service held at Charity Baptist Church on Tuesday, November 16th at 1:30 pm located at 4716 Ruffin Road, Prince George, VA 23875.
