Sandra Pelter

Sandra M. Pelter, 74, of Prince George, died May 31, 2010. She was a life-long resident of this area and was a school bus driver for 48 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Pelter, Jr., her parents, Fred H. and Evelyn I. Dabney Hopkins, her son Thomas J. Pelter, a grandson Matthew R. Pelter, a brother Fred Jr. and her sister Rena. Surviving are her sons, William K. Pelter & wife Tammy, of Prince George, Anthony C. Pelter & wife Cindy of Hopewell, six Grandchildren, nine Great-grandchildren, a brother, Harry Hopkins & wife Linda of Surry, Sister, Dale Fermino of MA., four sisters-in- law, Doris Sebera of Hopewell, Gladys Vtipil & husband Don of Prince George, Nancy Pelter of Spring Grove, Judy Koch of Prince George, several cousins, nieces and nephews. Special thanks to ICU Nursing Staff at John Randolph Hospital. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 2, from 7-8:30 pm in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
