Sandra Roark

Sandra Drumheller Roark, 53, of Hopewell, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2012. She enjoyed cooking, crafting, and discussing politics. Mrs. Roark was a thrifty shopper and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She had a great personality and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Roark loved and was loved deeply and will be truly missed. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Granny and Papa Drumheller, and Granny and Papa Massey. Mrs. Roark is survived by her sons, Robert Eggleston II and his wife, Malorie, and Jacob Roark; daughters, Melanie Hughes, and Kayleigh Roark; grandchildren, Cody and Trip Moore, Robert III, Jeff Dude Eggleston, Isabella and Julieaunna Roark; parents, Clayborn and Louise Massey Drumheller; sisters, Cynthia Drumheller Porter, Susan Drumheller Winegar and her husband, Michael; niece and nephew, Luke and Nicole Winegar; and a close family friend, Kevin Scott. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 2, 2012 at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 3572 Virginia Street, Hopewell, VA 23860, with Rev. Ken Hendricks officiating.
