Sarah Esther Mayes

Sarah Esther Mayes 90, of Dinwiddie, died on Tuesday February 9, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Traylor and Mary Louise Brooks Traylor Holt; her husband, Lyndal Thomas Mayes; daughter, Beverly Walsh; six brothers; and two sisters. Sarah is survived by her daughters, Jean Anderson, Joyce Price and her husband, James, Carolyn Stech and her husband, Louis; grandchildren, Christina, Kelly, Terry, Troy, Jerry; great-grandchildren, Geddy, Joshua, Jeremy, Jacob, Jennifer, Sydney, Shelby, Hannah, Lauren, Amberly, Keith, Navaeh; great-great-grandchildren, Geddy Jr., Elijah; her sister, Patsy Pritchett; special nieces, Sandra, Ruby; several other nieces, a nephew, and other extended family and friends. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Dinwiddie Health and Rehab. The family will receive friends from 3pm to 5pm on Sunday February 14, 2016 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
