Sarah Gertrude Pulley Mingea, 91, of Petersburg, died Sunday, October 16, 2005 at Southside Regional Medical Center. Born in Ettrick, VA, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Sarah Wilkes Pulley and the widow of John Thomas Mingea, Sr. Sarah was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Petersburg. She is survived by her granddaughters, Jacki M. Rials and husband, Allen of Auburndale, FL, Jodie M. Taylor of Hopewell, VA and Jamie M. Glass of Colonial Heights, VA; great-grandson, John L. Thomas, Jr. of Auburndale, FL; daughter-in-law, Betty Mingea-Greco of Petersburg, VA and several cousins. A graveside service will be held 11 am, Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Tuesday, October 18, 2005 from 7 to 8:30 pm.
