Scott Giordano

Scott Alexander Giordano, 38, of Disputanta, died Wednesday, September 10, 2008 as the result of a construction accident. He was born in Hamilton, NY. Mr. Giordano was employed by the McBar Realty Group and was a former member of the Jordan Point Yacht Club. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nora Browning Giordano. Surviving are his wife, Martha Ritchie Giordano, two step sons, Mark Wade Archer, Jr. and Benjamin Allen Archer all of Disputanta, his father, Samuel Giordano of Atlanta, Ga., two sisters, Elizabeth VanMopps of Hopewell and Sherry Wynn of Matthews, N. C., one brother, Vincent Giordano of Bedford, grandmother Alene Giordano , of Hopewell, numerous aunts, uncles, nephews , nieces, and many friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 13, 2008 in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home at 1:30 P.M. with the Rev. Dr. Ivan Perkinson, officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at Anchor Point Yacht Club, 303 Beacon Ridge Dr., Hopewell. Interment will be private.
