Scott David Wilson, 52, of Chester, VA, passed away on April 2, 2022. Born in Germany and raised in Elmira, NY, he is the son of David and Tange Wilson. Scott is a devoted and loving husband and best friend to his wife, Amy Walston Wilson, for the last nine years. He was a graduate of Pensacola Christian University with a Bachelor's in Accounting. Scott had a successful career in accounting with several industries, but most recently, as an accounting manager with Performance Food Service. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved golfing, hunting, boating, but more than anything, loved spending time with his wife, Amy, and their furbabies, Gracie, Hairy, and Gray. In addition to his love for the outdoors, he loved college basketball, NHL, NFL, fantasy football, and playing video games with his brother and nephews. He is survived by his wife, Amy; parents, David and Tange Wilson; brother, Robert Wilson; niece, Sydney Wilson; nephews, Spencer Wilson, Ryland Hughes, Collin Basham; as well as several other nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Steve King officiating. The family will receive friends after the ceremony at 15207 Quiet Forest Ct, Chester, 23834. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Colonial Heights Petersburg SPCA, 104 Pickwick Ave., Colonial Heights, VA 23834 in memory of Scott Wilson.
