Selden Richard â??Docâ? Walker, 78, a lifelong resident of Dinwiddie entered his eternal rest on Tuesday, May 6, 2008. Affectionately called â??Docâ? by his family and friends, known to his only brother Willard as â??Tuckerâ?. A member of Central Baptist Church and the American Legion Post #0149 in Dinwiddie, after retiring from Higgins Trucking as a truck mechanic for thirty years, he was recently employed by Pre Con of Chester. He was preceded in death by his mother Lucy Walker; uncles, Arthur and Pierce Walker; aunts, Daisy Walker and Minnie Glass. He is survived by his loving wife of twenty four years, Blanch G. Krenicky Walker; children, Wesley Krenicky and wife, Lisa of Southhill, VA and Rebecca Scott and husband, Keith of Dinwiddie, Brandon L. Krenicky (Megan) and Joshua C. Krenicky; great grandson, Emerson Blake; one brother, Willard Walker and wife, Mildred all of Dinwiddie; nephews, Bernard Walker and wife, Tina and Charlie Walker and wife, Carolyn; niece, Linda Burch and husband, Rusty of Colonial Heights; several other great nieces and nephews of Dinwiddie; also survived by several other cousins of Dinwiddie; three grandchildren, Megan Wechsler, Cody and Tiffany Scott. Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, May 10, 2008 in Southlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Bob Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
