Seldon Mann

Seldon Ayer â??Jimâ? Mann, age 91, of Chester, VA, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2008. He was born in Chester and was a life-long resident. Mr. Mann served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents Solomon and Alma Bishop Mann, his wife, Elizabeth Burton Mann, sisters, Martha Cowan and Thelma Badia; brothers, Neil and Truman Mann; cousin, Boyd Traylor. He is survived by his daughter, Anne E. Hubbard and husband Thurman; grandchildren, Junior Hubbard, and Bubba Hubbard; sister, Mabel M. Boyd, all of Chester, VA, nieces, Nancy, Mary Jack, Marsha, and families, nephews; James, Billy, David, Carter Hopkins, David and families; and a dear friend, Margaret Traylor and her family. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Sunday, May 18, 2008 from 4 to 6 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 19 at 3 p.m. in Sunset Memorial Park.
