Shannon Lee Smithson

Shannon Lee Smithson, 51, of Hopewell, VA passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021. Born in Petersburg, VA she was the daughter of the late Wilson Wade and Janet Milton Smithson. Shannon will be remembered by her family as a loving and devoted mother, sister, aunt and friend. She is survived by her son, Damien Chase Dunlow; her daughter, Hannan Nicole Dunlow; two brothers, James Neil Smithson and wife, Cindy and David Wade Smithson and wife, Britt; the father of her children, Jeff Dunlow; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Merchant’s Hope Memorial Gardens, Prince George, VA. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T.
