Shawn Dinece Ford

Shawn (Huff) Ford, 46, of Amelia, VA went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 9, 2016. She was a loving and devoted daughter, mother, wife, sister and friend. Her passion was to serve others, always putting them before herself. Everyone that knew her was affected by her tender and loving heart. She always saw the best in others. Shawn loved to travel. She even had the opportunity as a teenager to visit her ancestral home in Germany for three years. She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Carl Saltzman; and grandma, Cora Huff. She is survived by her husband, John Ford; two children, Andrew and Olivia; and a step-daughter, Mica (Ford) Lee; three grandchildren; her mother and step-father, Frieda and Alan Dawes, her father, Troy Huff; her sister, Mary (Huff); Loving, step-brother, Alan Dawes Jr.; step-sister, Jennifer Huff; step-brothers, Jacob and Joseph Huff; and their families, and many more dear family and friends. Isaiah 44:13 "I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you 'Do not fear I will help you.'" is a verse she clung to during her fight against cancer.
