Shaylin Marie Herrin, 15, of Dinwiddie County, was called to God on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. She was born April 1, 1997. Shaylin was a 9th grade student at Dinwiddie County Junior High School, a member of the JROTC, and a member and camp counselor with the 4-H Club. She was the daughter of Danielle Marie Herrin of Dinwiddie and Ronald Weidman of Florida. She is also survived by her brother, A.J. Herrin; grandparents John and Cindy Pike, Dale Stinogle and Freda Ianni; aunt, Ashley Stinogle; uncles, John M. Pike and Dave Grimm; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She will be especially loved and missed by friends, Ryan, Timmy, Austin, Angle, Brandon, Micheal, Embery, Victoria, Brittany, Mairessa, Casey, Erika, Brian, Paul, Laura, Sammy, E.C. and Tina. Shaylin was the great-granddaughter of the late Marie Timko Lawrence. Shaylinâ??s mother, family, and friends have everlasting gratitude for the outpouring of love and support. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2nd at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation. The family will receive friends following the service.
