Sheddie Johnson

Sheddie Wesley Johnson, age 81, of Chesterfield, VA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 8, 2011. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife June, of 59 years; five children, Jennifer Moore and husband, Paul of SC, Eric and wife Lizbeth of Richmond, VA, Esther Hayes and husband, Tim of TN, Joy Wells and husband, Dan of CO, and David and wife, Sheila of Chesterfield; 20 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Cassie and Frances, both of AL; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Johnson was employed for 30 years at Hercules Inc., Hopewell, VA. He was a member of the Clover Hill Baptist Church of Richmond, VA for 30 years. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, February 10, 2011 from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will follow on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Clover Hill Baptist Church (3100 Old Courthouse Road Richmond, VA 23236), with interment following in the Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
