Sheila Renea Mckenney

February 11, 1969 — November 20, 2023

Sheila Renea Crump McKenney, 54, of Dinwiddie passed away on November 20, 2023 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Shirley Weeks and Dennis Crump. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved traveling to the beach, taking road trips to the mountains, enjoyed fishing, collecting stamps and spending time with her family. Nothing made her happier than being a "She-She" as her granddaughter called her. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles "Pookie" McKenney and a son, Eric McKenney. She is survived by her daughter, LeAndra Mathison and husband, Robbie; son, Christopher Crump; granddaughter, Hailey Carnes; step-son, Jeff McKenney (Melissa) and their children, Dylan, Corbin, Kinsley & Gavin; step-daughter, Tracy Cherrix (Dwight) and her son, Austin; siblings, Danny Crump (Cindy), Richie Crump, Jimmy Crump (Linda) and Angel Stone; numerous nieces and nephews and her two best friends, Farica Whalen and Dawn Shook. A visitation will be held at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Prince George Volunteer Fire Department, Company 1, P.O. Box 22, Prince George, VA 23875.
