Shelia Marie Dockery

Shelia (B.B.) Marie Dockery, 65, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.
Born and raised in Pearl River, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Jeanette Marbry. Shelia lived in Virginia for many, many years, but never lost her Louisiana roots. She was a loving and caring person. To know her was to love her.
Shelia is survived by her husband of 15 years, L. Wayne Dockery; daughter, Jennifer Littlejohn; son, David Dufrene (Casey); seven grandchildren, Taylor Ann, Christopher "Peewee'", Briana, Hunter, Dixie, and Louis; two great-grandchildren, Temperance and Eli; two brothers, Allen and Louis (Linda) from Pearl River, LA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Doc and Sue Dockery; two sisters-in-law, Laura Allen and Cheryl Elder (James); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 20, 2023 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park.
