Sherie Shurm Nichols

Mrs. Sherie Lynne Shurm Nichols, 56, of Angier, NC and formally of Hopewell, Va., went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 19, 2016 following a lengthy medical struggle. She was born in Hopewell to the late William Edward Shurm Sr. and Mary Louise Swinson Shurm. Sherie was a wife, mother and sister who loved her family and friends as well as her pets throughout her life. She enjoyed music and particularly live performances. Sherie is survived by her husband, Timothy Paul Nichols; and her daughter, Lindsey Nicole Nichols of Angier, NC; a sister, Anne Louise Underwood (Kenny) of Mount Pleasant, NC; and a brother, William E. Shurm, Jr. of Hopewell, Va. A brief graveside service will be held at the family plot in Appomattox Cemetery on Tuesday, November 29 at 2pm. All family and friends are cordially invited to attend.
