Sherry Lynn Hanvey

Sherry Lynn Hanvey, 50, of Chesterfield, gained her wings on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Brenda Barker. Sherry was a free-spirited lady who remained brave and positive throughout her battle. She never gave up.
Even with the many varieties of music throughout the years, she was an avid believer that classic rock never dies. Sherry loved everything about cooking and spent much of her free time watching cooking shows. She was also an avid lover of all things Halloween.
Sherry is survived by her children, Christina Austin, Ashley Jones, Shelby Hanvey, and Dehvon Hosein;
grandchildren, Olivia Austin, Jaidyn Jones, Landon Austin, Keiyan Thomas, and Preston Austin; siblings, Ricky Barker, Bobby Barker, Wendy Hanvey, and Ronnie Barker. We can’t forget about her need for lemon juice and candy.
