Shirley Tatum Angelo

Shirley T. Angelo, 76, of Hopewell, Va. passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicoluas S. Angelo and her parents, Samuel E. and Thelma Noon Tatum. Shirley worked for the City of Hopewell in Public Works for 27 years and was a lifelong animal lover. She is survived by her two special daughters, Alisa A. Morelock and Sharon Hays; goddaughter, Traci N. Hulsey and her husband, Nick; grand-goddaughter, Addison Ann Hulsey; numerous cousins and a lifelong friend, Ginger Riddle. Memorial contributions may be made to any local SPCA or animal shelter. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. All services are private.
