Shirley Jean Romanchock

Shirley Jean Romanchock, 84, of Petersburg, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014. Born in Quincy, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Paul Hance Smith and Phyllis Newman Smith. She was also preceded in death by husband, Theodore R. Romanchock; and sister, Nora Lee O’Hara. Mrs. Romanchock served in the Women’s Army Corps retiring from Civil Service at Fort Lee after 30 years. In her spare time she loved playing golf. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia K. Romanchock; daughter, Sharon Crowder; two granddaughters; aunts, Betty Stryker and Ann Turner; and her extended family at the Fort Lee Golf Club and the Fort Lee Ladies Golf League.
