Sidney Grant

Sidney Franklin Grant, 62, of Dinwiddie passed away February 28, 2011 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter S. Grant, brother, Walter Grant, Jr. and grandson Jacob Ryan Ford. He is survived by his mother, Kathryn Peebles Grant; daughters, Cindy Grant, Sarah Craig and husband, Jack; son, Kristopher and daughter-in-law, Shawn; five grandchildren, Tyler Perkinson, Tabitha Grant, Katlyn, Brandon, and Dylan Ford; and two sisters, Kathryn Grant and Ellen Maultsby as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. Frankie was a member of Asbury Church in McKenney and also a member of McKenney Hunt & Fish Club. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, March 4, 2011 at the Asbury United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday March 3, 2011 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery.
