Sieglinde Gibfried Mitchell

Sieglinde Gibfried Mitchell, 75, of Chesterfield, died Sunday, May 14, 2017 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hans and Lina Wachtmeister Gibfried and her husband, Roy D. Mitchell, Sr. She was a member of Lakemont Baptist Church in Petersburg. The Family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the funeral home with a burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. She is survived by her children, Ronald T. Fairburn, John Fairburn and wife, Tonya and Angela V. Hunter; four grandchildren, Caleb and Kincaid Fairburn, Louis A. Vairo, Jr. and Victoria L. Hunter; one great-grandchild, Lilly Ann Vairo; four sisters, Karola Kenney, Hanne Ruger, Lydia Wallach and Maxie Price; brother, Hands Gibfried; and numerous extended family and friends.
