James Herbert ?Kiester? Smith, Sr., 62, of Macon GA, died Thursday, March 10, 2005. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 16, at Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Mr. Smith was retired after 40 years of service from Brown & Williamson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marie Elizabeth Smith and Oscar James Kessler; a daughter, Angela Kay Smith and his brother, Jerry Smith. He is survived by a son, James Herbert ?Jimmy? Smith, Jr. of Petersburg; a daughter, Melissa Smith of Ford, VA; a sister, Delores Rose Lewis of Colonial Heights; and a brother, Allen Smith of Petersburg.
