Sr. L. Stell

Grover Lee Stell, Sr., 88, of Waverly died Thursday, January 5, 2012. He was born in Dinwiddie County the son of the late Charles and Mary Stell. He was a Veteran of the US Navy and served in World War II and the Pacific Theatre and was retried from Titmus Optical (Zeiss). He is survived by his son, Grover Lee Stell, Jr. â??Peteâ? and his wife Vivian; two step-children, Janice Holley and friend Willie Redd and Ray Dawson and wife Gladys; six grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 13th , at Southlawn Memorial Park with Dr. Ivan Perkinson officiating. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
