Sr., Poole

James A. Poole, Sr., 72, of Dinwiddie went to rest in the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, March 7, 2006. He was a member of Dinwiddie Baptist Church and a former member of the Dinwiddie Moose Lodge. He was saved and baptized on January 7, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Emma Magee Poole; his son, James A. Poole, Jr. and his brother, Roy D. Poole, Sr. He is survived by his granddaughters, Angel Pulver of Dinwiddie and Michelle Poole of Hopewell; two great grandchildren, Jasmine and Jordan Taylor; nieces, Virginia Rafferty, Linda Hayes and Carolyn Hoylman; nephews, Roy Donald Poole, Jr. and Gary Poole all of Dinwiddie. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service from 2 to 4 pm on Saturday, March 10, 2007.
