Sr. R. "Bobby" Page

Charles Robert â??Bobbyâ? Page, Sr., age 76, of Chester, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2009. He was born in Hamlet, N.C., son of the late Asa Hix Page, Sr. and Grace Blackley Page. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Pait. Mr. Page was an active member of Kingsland Baptist Church. He retired from Honeywell in 1985, while also working part-time at Gould Funeral Home for 26 years. After retirement, he worked at Bermuda Distribution. Mr. Page is survived by his wife, Judy Jessee Page; children, Charles R. â??Chuckâ? Page, Jr. and wife, Renee of Colonial Heights, Debi Michael and husband, Reggie, and Patti Allen and husband, Ronnie, both of Chesterfield; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Ida Lee Jessee; siblings, Janice Keziah, Russell Page, Asa H. Page, Jr., William Page, Glenn Page and Lewis Page; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Saturday, August 29, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will take place at Kingsland Baptist Church on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at 2 p.m., with interment following in Centralia Cemetery, Chesterfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kingsland Baptist Church Building Fund, 8801 Perrymont Road, Richmond, Virginia 23237.
