Sr., R. Lowe

Harwood Rawls Lowe Sr., 54, of Hopewell, passed away Saturday February 14, 2004. Mr. Lowe was retired from Fort Lee Va. As a Civil Service worker. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spent quality time with his children. He was predeceased by his father Harwood Edward Lowe, a son, Michael Skinner, and a Granddaughter McKayla Skinner. He is survived by his loving wife Trudy Lowe, three sons, Harwood Rawls Lowe Jr. and friend Debi, Johnnie W. Lowe and wife Angela, Ronald E. Skinner and wife Nancy all of Hopewell, four grandchildren, Jordon Lowe of Hopewell, Justin, Savannah, and Sierra Skinner all of Chester. Four sisters, Mary Cabaniss and husband Gordon of Chester, Sally Knight and Husband Carl, Patricia Scott, Merle Cox and Husband Doug all of Hopewell, Brother-in-Law Alex Jones of Georgia, Mother Sally H Shores of Hopewell, Mother-in-law Marie A. Jones of Colonial Heights and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friend Wednesday 7-9 PM February 18, 2004 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son, Inc. Mr. Lowe will be cremated and the family has requested that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Cancer Society 2730 Ellsmere Ave., Norfolk, Virginia 23513.
