Walter Raymond Poole, Jr., 62, of Dinwiddie County, passed away Monday, April 05, 2004 at his residence. He was a member of Bott Memorial Presbyterian Church in DeWitt. Mr. Poole was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Kathleen B. and Peter Branch; and his father, Walter Raymond Poole, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Brenda R. Poole; his children, Bryan N. Poole, Lynda P. Cunningham and husband, Butch, and Ronda P. Keeler and husband, John; grandchildren, Jennifer M. Poole, Amanda P. Selden and husband, Steven, Matthew W. Cunningham, Megan W. Cunningham, Nathan L. Jessup, Justin Keeler, and Matthew Keeler. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, at Asbury Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Katherine Jackson and the Rev. Tom Waltz officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bott Memorial Presbyterian Church c/o Bryant Neville, Treasurer, 10306 Scotts Road, DeWitt, VA 23840. Service provided by the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
