Sr. Rainey

Dennis Rainey, Sr., 59, of Colonial Heights, died October 23, 2006 at Southside Regional Medical Center. Born in Petersburg, he was the son of the late Leonard Samuel and Rosa Lee Butler Rainey. He was a retired employee of the City of Petersburg. Mr. Rainey is survived by his wife, Deborah Rainey; daughters, Christell Foster and Ashley Rainey; brothers, Willie Rainey and Pete Rainey; sister, Louise; five remaining children; nine grandchildren; and his devoted companion, Diesel, his black lab.
