Sr., T. Bridger

Howard Talmadge Bridger, Sr., 83 of Chester passed away on December 22, 2011 at his residence. He was the son of the late A. Scarborough and Strawdie Byrd Bridgers. He is survived by a son, Charles Bridger of Disputanta; sister, Ronnie Rush of Clarkton, NC.; brother, Richard Bridgers of Elizabethtown NC.; sister-in-law, Bonnie Terry of Virginia Beach; step-son, Frank Weaver of Chester; and his best friend, Dale Anderson of Claremont, VA. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Greenfield Living Center in Petersburg, VA.
