Sr., W. Allen

Thomas William Allen, Sr., 82 of Hopewell, died, Tuesday, November 16, 2010 in Richmond, Va. He was born in Brooklyn, New York. Mr. Allen served in the U. S. Navy during WW II and the Korean Conflict, a retired maintenance employee of Kings Dominion and a member of St. James Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Raymond and Anna Kunz Allen, his wife, Catherine Reilly Allen and a brother, Raymond Allen. Surviving are his son, Thomas W. Allen, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Hopewell, a daughter, Margaret â??Peggyâ? Hayes and husband Peter of Surfers Paradise, Australia, a grandson, Michael P. Allen, USMC, a granddaughter, Kathleen A. â??Kittyâ? Leake and husband Deneb, two great grandsons, Brody W. Leake and Declan P. Leake all of Hopewell, two brothers, Robert Allen of Topeka, Ks. and Norman Allen of Queens, NY. A Mass of Christian Resurrection will be held Monday, November 22, 2010 at 6:30 P.M. in St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Frank Wiggins, pastor, officiating, Visitation will following in the Church parish hall. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 11:00 A. M. in Albert G.
