Sr. W. Duncan

Kyle William Duncan, Sr., 75 died Tuesday, January 24, 2006 in John Randolph Medical Center. He was born in Chilhowie, VA and had been a resident of Hopewell since 1960. Mr. Duncan was retired from the U.S. Army as a SSG, Medical Tech after serving 22 years. He served both during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. Mr. Duncan was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and St. James Catholic Church. He was the son of the late James B. & Ruth L. Pierce Duncan. Mr. Duncan is survived by his wife, Mary Zello Duncan of Hopewell, one daughter, Denise Wall Womble of Virginia Beach, two sons, Kyle William Duncan of Reston, John Michael Duncan & his wife Paula of Hopewell, 9 grandchildren, one sister, Shirley Manuel of McQueen, TX and a twin brother, Kent Duncan of Murfreesboro, TN. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 26, 2006 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 27, 2006 at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Frank Wiggins, Priest of St. James Catholic Church officiating.
