It is with a heavy heart that we place this post. Our beloved youngest son, Stephen Britton Conley, passed away suddenly last Saturday, April 21 2018. Stephen gave us over three decades of joy and laughter. “Big Red” was a proud graduate of Mills Godwin High School where he enjoyed participating in chorus and football.
Stephen is survived by his parents, Bill and Eileen Conley of Chester, Virginia; his paternal grandparents Jason and Joann Conley of Charleston, West Virginia; His two older brothers Richard (Emily) of Chester and Tim (Mary Beth) of Charleston; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins whom he loved and four nephews (Zach, Joe, Gabe and Tanner) with whom he had a deep bond. Special friends Staci and Matt Daniels were also a big part of Stephen’s life, they and their children made him feel like a part of their family and their youngest child Norah was Stephen’s goddaughter. Stephen worked as an Administrative assistant at the Bill Conley State Farm Agency in North Chesterfield. He also helped the agency team with event marketing which he enjoyed thoroughly having never met a stranger. We always loved and admired his loyalty to friends, sense of humor and charitable nature.
There will be a Recognition Service for Stephen on May 6, 2018 at the J.T. Morriss & Sons (
www.jtmorriss.com
) chapel located at 3050 W. Hundred Road, Chester, VA 23831. Doors will open at 1:30pm with the service starting at 2pm followed by a time for visitation.
We are thankful to our family, fellowship, fellow workers and friends for the abundant outpouring of love, prayers and support during these difficult times. It is our earnest expectation and our hope that at some point in the future we will see our beloved son and the sparkle in his eyes again face to face. God bless you, Bill and Eileen Conley
