Stephen Edward Goodyear Sr.

Stephen Edward Goodyear, Sr. 67, of Petersburg, went to be with his Lord and his dear mother, Allie Doris Crumpler Goodyear, on mother’s day, Sunday, May 13, 2018. Left to cherish Stephens memory are his children, Stephen Edward Goodyear, Jr. and Alyssa Ashley Goodyear; Grandson, Edward Gray Sharek; former spouse, Susan Gray Rose; father, Bernard Joseph Goodyear; siblings, Joan Goodyear Smallwood (David), Bernard Joseph Goodyear, III (Janice), Priscilla Goodyear Smith (Jonny), and Thomas Franklin Goodyear (Carla); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Steve will be missed by many. Steve took an interest in electronics and technology, but always showed pride in his landscaping and woodworking. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 151 W. Washington Street.
