Stephen Douglas Schwartz

Stephen Douglas Schwartz, 49, of Chesterfield, VA passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. Born in Richmond, VA he was the son of the late Charles S. Schwartz and Mary Catherine Dickey; and was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Catherine “Kitty” Shumaker; and his grandfather, Charlie Hollins. Mr. Schwartz had worked for Atlas Die Company for over 25 years as a CAD Programmer. He is survived by his loving wife, Sherrie Lynn Schwartz; a son, Montanna Schwartz; step-son, Shane Snead and wife, Angel; a granddaughter, Adalyn Snead; one sister, Donna Joy Schwartz; and numerous other loving family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Flowers are welcome, or contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Mr. Schwartz.
