Stephen Stanley

Stephen M. Stanley, 46, of Chester, passed away Thursday December 28, 2006 surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Carlton & Juanita Rowe Stanley. He was a member of the Chester Outreach Church of the Nazarene, an ordained minister of the Nazarene Church, a Pittsburg Steelers fan, retired carrier from the Richmond Post Office, and was honorably discharged from The United States Navy September 29, 1983, where he was a First Class Engineer aboard a nuclear fast attack submarine. He is survived by his loving wife Connie Stanley; daughters, Jessica M. & Rachel E. Stanley; brother, Ronnie Stanley & wife Mary; sister, Becky Davis; loving aunt, Shirley Smither; father & mother-in-law Lenny & Grace Hall; sister-in-law, Karen Browder & husband, Steve; and numerous nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends tonight 6:00-8:00 PM at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel Saturday, December 30, at 1:00 PM. Interment will be Wednesday January 3, 2007 at 1:00 PM in the Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia Virginia.
