Stephen Franklin Stewart, 57, of Dinwiddie, passed away on July 19, 2014. Born in Petersburg, VA he was the son of the late Samuel Jefferson Sr. and Barbara Edwards Stewart; and was also preceded in death by his brother, Samuel J. Stewart, Jr. Mr. Stewart was a graduate of Petersburg High School and went on to graduate from VCU School of Business. He was the president of Paramount Services. Mr. Stewart was a member of the POGO, the Kempsville Kiwanis Club and the Tri-City Club. He is survived by his sister, Barbara “Bunny” Hardin; one brother, Shelley Stewart, wife, Teresa, and children, Travis, Mallory, and Katelyn; a beloved niece, Carol Hardin; sister-in-law, Deborah W. Stewart “Red”; his beloved pets, Geronimo and Frieda; and numerous other loving family members. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Petersburg, VA. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Tri-City Club or to the Pauley Heart Center in memory of Mr. Stewart. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.
