Steven Phillip Barbour was born in Roanoke VA, October 31 1963. Steve passed away at his home in Chester Va. April 14, 2019. He graduated from Thomas Dale High School in Chester VA, in 1982. Steve went to work for Graphics 3 and worked there for over 20 years as a graphics artist. After leaving Graphics 3 he went to work for Cole's Coins where he maintained the web site .He had a passion for photography, relic hunting, researching the history of the artifacts that he found and the relics that were brought to the shop. Steve was a published author in several Civil War periodicals. He lived on Meadowville Plantation, now Meadowville Landing for 17 years hosting family, friend and community events every year, Steve was a dedicated family member and friend who will be missed by everyone. He was preceded in in death by his Parents, Grandparents, two Aunts and three Uncles. He is survived by three Brothers , one Sister In law , four Nieces and their spouses , one Grandniece , two Grandnephews , six Aunts , three Uncles , eleven Cousins and their families. His memorial service will be held at JT Morriss & Son Chesterfield Chapel at 3050 W Hundred Road in Chester Saturday May 11 at 11am. In lieu of flowers please send donations to St Jude's Children's Hospital. After the service Family and Friends will be received at 3002 Sherwood Ln., Hopewell VA.
