Steven Miller

Steven Wayne Miller, 50, of Chester passed away on Friday, December 26, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Edward Miller, Sr. and Louise Smith Miller and his brothers, Gordon, Neal and Christopher Cain Miller. Steven was a free spirit who enjoyed life and loved his family. He served his country in the U.S. Marines and while in Italy served as an Embassy Guard. Steven worked for Dominion Virginia Power/Chesterfield Power Plant for over 28 years and was a member of IBEW Local 50. He is survived by his sisters, Linda M. and John W. Andrews, Sr., Sandra M. and Michael R. Dance, Sr.; brother, Paul E. Miller, Jr. and wife, Cindy; nieces and nephews, Tabitha West and husband, Jason, John Andrews, Jr. and wife, Christina, Michael Dance, Jr., Melissa Dance, Brandon Miller and wife, Sharon and Kaitlyn Miller; great niece, Alana Andrews and great nephew, Zachary Miller. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Monday, December 29, 2008 from 6 to 8 pm.
