Steven James Patton

Steven James Patton, 60, of Hopewell, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife, Kay Patton; daughter, Brenda Young and her husband, John; granddaughter, Kaylyn; parents, Robert F. Patton Sr. and Mary Mace Patton; brothers, Robert F. Patton Jr. and his wife, Kathy, Bart A Patton and his wife, Lori; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. Steven worked for Food Lion as a truck driver for 20 plus years. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with his granddaughter Kaylyn, who was the light of his life. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Wesley United Methodist Church 2901 Norfolk St. Hopewell, VA 23860. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home.
