Stuart Watson Farmer, Jr.

Stuart Watson Farmer, Jr., 55 of Chester, passed away on December 1, 2013 after a courageous battle with crohn’s disease and cancer. Born in Richmond, VA he was the son of the late Stuart W. Farmer, Sr. Mr. Farmer was a 1976 graduate of Thomas Dale High School, and was an avid outdoorsman through Avery’s Mill Hunt Club. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Kvasnicka Farmer; sons, Matthew Scott Farmer and wife, Marsha and Christopher Adam Farmer and wife, Diana; one daughter, Elizabeth Lorraine Farmer and fiancé Benjamin Champ; his mother, Virginia Singleton Farmer; a sister, Bonnie Farmer Toibin; one nephew, Andrew Sean Toibin; and a niece, Kaitlyn Virginia Toibin. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 6, 2013 at the funeral home, with Chaplain Craig Buxton, officiating. Interment will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park, Chester, VA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, National Processing Center, Att. Honor and Memorial Gifts, P.O. Box 1245, Albert Lea, MN 56007.
