Sue Cook

Sue Plunkett Cook, 86, of Petersburg, passed away on July 6, 2005. She was the daughter of the late John David and Alice Marshall Plunkett and the widow of John Jefferson Cook, Sr. she was preceded in death by a brother, John Garland Plunkett and a son, John Jefferson Cook, Jr. Mrs. Cook was a graduate of The College of William and Mary and a member of First Baptist Church in Petersburg. She was a retired civil service employee with the Defense General Supply Center at Bellwood. She is survived by a beloved friend of over 30 years, Joan Poole Leeper and her beloved feline companions, Red, Mittens and Cephas. A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, July 11, 2005 at 2:30 pm in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Appomattox, Virginia with Dr. W. Rand Forder officiating. The Petersburg chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service is handling the arrangements.
