Sue Holt

Sue Babb Holt, 71, of Franklin, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Born in Waverly, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Story Babb. She was the wife of the late Shelton Earl Holt.
She is survived by her son, Shelton Bruce Holt and his wife, Tammy, and daughter, Alison Kaye Holt, both of Franklin; grandchildren, Alexandra Paige and Kristen Grace Holt; sister, Joanne Frye of Stony Creek; cousin, Linda Carr and husband Bobby, of Boykins; sister in laws, Nelda Johnson and husband, Charlie of Tarboro, NC and Mary Ann Harrell of Suffolk; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Peggy Arnold and Jean Robinson.
The family will receive friends at the Wakefield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Friday, July 6, 2012 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Rosemont Cemetery in Sedley.
