Susan Childress

Susan Marie Childress, 53, of Petersburg, passed away Monday, August 6, 2007. Born in Charlottesville, VA, she was the daughter of Florence Marie Goolsby Childress and the late Marion Windom Childress. Also preceding her in death was a brother, Roger Lee Childress a nephew, David Wayne Wason, II, and a very beloved friend, Bernard Skinner. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her siblings, Ronnie Childress and wife, Linda, William Childress, Melvin Childress, Marjorie Pitts and husband, Milton, Grace Watson, Mary Jane Childress, and Billy Joe Childress; brother-in-law, David Wason; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
